TranSfoRMation'18 is a two-day tech fest. The main objective of this Tech-Fest is to kindle the minds of the student with the latest technology and also aim at unleashing the creativity of future software engineers.

List of Events:

Web Designing

“So are you ready to PLAN….DESIGN….DEVELOP….DEPLOY?”

Rules and Regulations:

  • Maximum 2 participants per team.
  • Tools like Html, CSS and JavaScript can be used.
  • Each team will get maximum of 30 min to complete the web design.

A theme will be given on the spot.

Technical Paper Presentation

“Fill your paper with the breathings of your heart.”

Rules and Regulations:

  • Three to Four authors per team.
  • The paper should be in IEEE format.
  • The papers must be submitted on or before 30th April 2018 by 12:00 AM.
  • Selected papers will be intimated through mail on 1st of May.
  • Time duration 7 min for presentation and 5min for queries.

Technical Quiz

“Pour your knowledge, prove yourself and be the best”

Rules and Regulations:

  • Two participants per team.
  • First Prelim round will be conducted.
  • Top 5 selected teams will go for final round.
  • Total of 5 rounds will be conducted in the Finals.

Code Debugging

“The most effective debugging tool is still careful thought, coupled with judiciously placed print statements.”

Rules and Regulations:

  • Maximum 2 participants in a team.
  • First Written Prelims will be conducted.
  • Top 7 teams will take part in Finals.
  • Languages C, C++ and Java.

Technical Connection

“Do you know how to connect the dots, well Connect this now!”

Rules and Regulations:

  • Maximum 2 participants per team.
  • Teams will have to connect the hints given and give a technical answer.
  • Participant has to identify the answer within given time limits.


“Technically it’s time to say LIGHTS…..CAMERA…..ACTION”

Rules and Regulations:

  • Maximum of 4 participants in a team.
  • Props will be given on the spot.
  • 5 mins preparation time will be given.


“To win the Game you need to stay in the Game.”

Rules and Regulations:

  • Games for the competition are Counter Strike and DOTA.
  • Maximum 5 participants per team for Counter Strike and 5 participants per team for DOTA.
  • Participant has to complete the module within given time limits.

Venue: SRM University, Sikkim Campus

Time: 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Registration fee: Rs. 200 per person

Note: Spot Registration for all Events except Paper Presentation

For Paper Presentation, abstracts must be mailed to on or before 30.04.2018.
